- Personal information
"Personal information" means any information that relates to a
natural person, which, either directly or indirectly, in
combination with other information available or likely to be
available with a body corporate, is capable of identifying such
a person. Such information could include information relating to
name, address, contact details, phone numbers or any information
capable of identifying an individual.
- Sensitive personal information
Sensitive personal data or information of person means such
personal information which consist of information relating to

card or debit card or other payment instrument details;
- physical, physiological and mental health condition;
- sexual orientation;
- medical records and history;
- Biometric information
- any detail relating to the above clauses as provided
to the Company for providing service; and
- any of the information received under above clauses by
the Company for processing, stored or
- processed under lawful contract or otherwise:
Any information that is freely available or accessible in public
domain like in telephone directories etc. or furnished under the
Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other law for the time
being in force shall not be regarded as sensitive personal data
or information for the purpose of this policy.
- Third parties, vendors, service
providers
For the purpose of this document, a 'Third Party' is a service
provider who associates with the Company and is involved in
handling, managing, storing, processing, protecting and
transmitting information of the Company. This definition also
includes all sub-contractors, vendors, consultants and/or
representatives of the Third party.

To have reasonable security practices in place to safeguard the
confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive
personal information available with the company thereby
complying with any legal, regulatory, contractual & social
obligations in place.

collected by the Company, its purpose & usage including
disclosures & transfers
- The Company after obtaining your consent through the
policy proposal form or through such other means may share
your sensitive personal data or personal information as
defined earlier with third parties only for a lawful purpose
related to providing insurance & insurance related services as
prescribed by the applicable insurance regulations. These

proposal form/ request as per relevant product terms &
conditions.
- Respond to your insurance policy servicing requests
or assistance.
- Perform any market analysis, market research,
business and operational analysis to help us improve our

- Risk sharing or risk transfer arrangements with
Reinsurance agencies / Companies (Both Indian and Foreign).
- Sharing with affiliates/ group companies for
business assessment, planning and evaluation, etc.
- We may also share your sensitive personal information
without seeking your prior written consent when such
information is sought by or required to be shared with
Government agencies or other authorized law enforcement
agencies mandated under law to obtain such information for the
purpose of verification of identity or for prevention,
detection, investigation including but not limited to cyber
incidents, prosecution, and punishment of offences.

services or websites or otherwise interact with us during the
course of our relationship.
- Use of "cookies"- Your visit to our website may be

part of the policy proposal form or product terms and
conditions pursuant to which we provide you our products and
services. We take the help of Internet Protocol ("IP")
addresses to diagnose any problems with our server and to
administer our web site, including by blocking certain
addresses that we feel are inappropriately using our website.
IP addresses might be used to gather broad demographics
information, such as browser types, visitor's country,
visiting frequency, operating systems, etc.
